Tim
is originally from Morgantown West Virginia where he grew up playing baseball
for 10 years in Little League, Babe Ruth, High School, and Senior Babe Ruth.
He was actively involved in the original construction of Valley View Field,
the home field of both Senior Babe Ruth and Morgantown High Baseball from 1980
through the late 1990s. Tim played for the Mohigans during their first
two years at Valley View, and as a senior he earned All-State Honorable
Mention and Big 10 Conference First Team at his Third Base position. He
also led the Mohigans in hitting in his 1981 Senior season.
In
1982, Tim served as Field Director and Umpire for the Morgantown Senior Babe
Ruth League at Valley View Field.
Tim
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from West
Virginia University in 1984 and moved to Johnson City in 1985. He has
worked for Texas Instruments which became Siemens, and currently for Host
Engineering designing and developing electronic products for factory
automation.
Tim has two
children: Rachel, 16, and David who is playing for Chaparral again this year
as a 13 year old due to a June birthday. Tim has coached in Johnson
City in Boys and Girls Basketball, Little League Baseball, and Boys and
Girls Soccer.
