Tim is back this year for his 3rd season as the Chaparral Manager and Head Coach. Tim is originally from Morgantown West Virginia where he grew up playing baseball for 10 years in Little League, Babe Ruth, High School, and Senior Babe Ruth. He was actively involved in the original construction of Valley View Field, the home field of both Senior Babe Ruth and Morgantown High Baseball from 1980 through the late 1990s. Tim played for the Mohigans during their first two years at Valley View, and as a senior he earned All-State Honorable Mention and Big 10 Conference First Team at his Third Base position. He also led the Mohigans in hitting in his 1981 Senior season. In 1982, Tim served as Field Director and Umpire for the Morgantown Senior Babe Ruth League at Valley View Field. Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University in 1984 and moved to Johnson City in 1985. He has worked for Texas Instruments which became Siemens, and currently for Host Engineering designing and developing electronic products for factory automation. Tim has two children: Rachel, 16, and David who is playing for Chaparral this year as a 14 year old. Tim has coached in Johnson City in Boys and Girls Basketball, Little League Baseball, and Boys and Girls Soccer. Coach Pat Weber
