Zac Campbell - 12

Zac needs to work on reaching back for starting a throw.  You need push off the right foot and step toward the target with the left foot.  Launch your body over the left leg and release with the ball directly above your elbow.  Footwork and arm extension will greatly increase throwing strength and accuracy.

Form looks good.  Great upper body rotation and follow through.

Zac Hitting

Great swing and contact on this low outside pitch which it look like you drove properly into right field.  Also good follow through all the way around past the 3rd base dugout.  Work on pulling the arms around with the hips for more bat speed.

Zac Swing and Miss

On this swing at a high pitch on the outer part of the plate, it looks like your hands get through early, but the arms are late getting the bat around.  Notice how much the barrel of the bat drops between frames.  Work on keeping the bat at or above the height of the ball - in other words bring the arms down ni the swing but never so far you have to back up to get to the ball.  Also work on getting the arms extended.  In any case the follow through is excellent - all the way past the catcher!
