The 2008 edition of Chaparral was the most talented team in my 4 years as coach.  We lost our 1st regular season game by forfeit due to the 8 school players on our team.  Then we dropped a close one early but dominated to win our other 14 regular season games, including going 8-0 in our division.

In the Memorial Week Tournament, we got shelled in a game vs. Horton Sports, but then became the bearer of the lumps as we dominated the remaining games including the 2 final games rematched against Horton Sports.

In the City Tournament, a fantastic Evergreen finally got our number in their 4th attempt to put us in the Loser's bracket.  Then we lost in the semi-final in a thrilling pitcher's duel by a count of 1-0.
